Posted: 02 June 2021
Notice reference #: 1HALLJ

Join us for a day focused on Care, Movement and Play...lead by practitioners who are committed to Magda Gerber's Educaring® Approach.

RIE® Associate, Elena Marouchos –  “To care is to put love into action” - Magda Gerber Remembering, revisiting and rekindling notions of care....

This workshop explores Magda Gerber’s notions of love and what this might look like in practice.  Glimpses of caregiving moments will offer opportunities for participants to revisit their own practice, to think more about the way we care for our infants as after all this is how they experience our love.

RIE® Associate, Sharon Smith – Security through movement

This experience is about movement. It’s also about awareness at many levels. Let us appreciate some opportunities to revisit and pay attention to our internal world as we move our bodies.
Our movement exploration is a language all of its own, and reminds us the tactile, proprioceptive and vestibular input integrates intuitively. Let’s have fun discovering this.

RIE® Intern, Ania Wojcikowski – Play!

Why do children play? How do we create an environment that facilitates free, uninterrupted play? In this workshop we will discuss the importance of play to learning and development. We will also break down some of the patterns of development we can observe through infancy into early toddlerhood.
