Child Protection Policy & Code of Conduct Training – WEBINAR
Does your organisation have an effective child protection policy in place? What is a Safeguarding Code of Conduct and why have one?
Join Ruth Browning on 7 July to get started!
Implementing a Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct demonstrates an organisation's commitment to protecting children and young people in their care, provides staff with best practice and encourages positive, healthy relationships.
Robust, effective child protection response is essential if we are to improve the wellbeing of our vulnerable children.
This course will help provide the children’s workforce (organisations and individuals) with a practical guide to development and implementing a workable and robust Child Protection Policy and Procedure and a Safeguarding Code of Conduct.
Serious case reviews highlight the need to create a consistent, systematic approach to identify and respond effectively to concerns. These are the roles of your Child Protection Policies and Procedures. A Safeguarding Code of Conduct provides guidance on appropriate and expected standards of behaviour of those working or volunteering in an organisation towards tamariki and rangatahi.
The cost of this course includes 2 resources which will be sent to you when registered. These resources will guide you through the process and useful as references when creating and adapting your policies, procedures and code of conduct.
