Professional development (PD) Canterbury

Posted: 09 April 2021
Notice reference #: 1HAJgM

Learn how to get started with game design using the online game platform Gamefroot.

There are two sessions on Tuesday, 11 May for you and your class to join in on.

10–11.30am and 1–2.30pm

These online hui are for kaiako and/or their class to join in on and learn about game design in relation to helping students in creating games for the Rubber Duck Awards.

You can set up a time during class hours and jump online with your class to learn how to get started.

These sessions are part of the Rubber Duck Awards to support kaiako and ākonga taking part in the awards. This is a year long competition, so there is still time to sign up for the 2021 awards.

The awards are only open to Schools across Canterbury, but all Kaiako are welcome to join in to learn about game design.

For more information about the Rubber Duck Awards visit the website here, or book your place at an event here.
