Research Project: The Use of New Zealand Audio/Visual Content in Schools

At the request of NZ On Air and NZ On Screen, I am investigating the use of New Zealand-produced audio/visual content (such as films and documentaries, TV programmes, online resources, music sources) in classrooms. This research will update and extend similar research I did in 2016, and will serve to identify aspects of continuity and change, as well as point to future resource needs.

All responses to my online survey will remain confidential and no personal information will be sought. I am endeavouring to reach as many teachers as possible, across a diversity of subject areas in primary, kohanga reo, intermediate and secondary schools. The survey will be easy to complete and should take no more than 15-20 minutes.

We’re excited to launch InsideOUT’s first annual National Schools Pride Week campaign, with a range of activities that schools, rainbow diversity groups, students and staff can get involved with in their school!
