Rāroa Normal Intermediate 50th Jubilee – 11–12 June 2021
Rāroa Normal Intermediate will celebrate 50 years of educating children in 2021. The following events will take place to enable us to mark this milestone.
Friday 11 June 2021, 1–4pm
There will be an official powhiri and opening ceremony at 1pm at Rāroa Normal Intermediate, followed by refreshments. There will be the opportunity to visit classrooms to see how students are educated now, compared to when Rāroa Normal Intermediate began.
Friday 11 June 2021, 6pm
A social meet and greet at 1841 Bar and Restaurant, 1 Disraeli Street, Johnsonville, Wellington 6037 at 6pm, in the upstairs bar. Nibbles provided, drinks available for purchase at the bar. All welcome.
Saturday 12 June 202, 1–3pm
The school will be open for tours around the classes and a photo exhibition in the hall. Photographs of decade groups will be taken at 2pm.
Saturday 12 June 2021, 6.30–10pm
A dinner and dance will be held in the Rāroa hall. There will be a buffet dinner and drinks can be purchased at the bar.
Tickets for all of these events can be purchased and will cost $50.

Paremata School Centenary Celebrations November 2021
Paremata School are celebrating turning 100 years old in November 2021.
We are holding a number of activities at school on Friday 12 November and Saturday 13 November.

175th Celebration – Stoke School, Nelson
We are celebrating our 175th year. As the second oldest running school in Aotearoa we invite past staff, pupils and friends to register for this celebration and/or share our history.
Dates: 23–26 September.
