Ka Hikitia: Ka Hāpaitia is the Ministry of Education’s ‘Māori Education Strategy’.

It outlines how the Ministry will work alongside services to enact its goals to shift the way that education is delivered, to support excellent and equitable outcomes for Māori learners, their whānau, hapū and iwi.

It provides a framework for outlining actions and has an emphasis on being a cross-agency approach to ensure Māori achieving educational success across the education sector.

This workshop will focus on the whakapapa of this document, the ‘Outcome Domains’ and the ‘Guiding Principles’ for this document and establish ways to begin actioning these in your teaching practice and teaching environments.

9am to 4pm on Thursday 29 April 2021

Cost: $150ppv + GST
