Physical Education New Zealand (PENZ), in conjunction with Health Education Association and Education Outdoors NZ, invite you to their national conference 11–13 July in Christchurch.
The Embrace Uncertainty 2021 Conference is for primary teachers, secondary physical education, health education, and outdoor education teachers, lecturers in beginning teacher education, academics and researchers, tertiary students, and professionals working in the sport, health and recreation sector.
Let’s face it, we’ve all faced much uncertainty in the last year. We’ve learned new skills and tried new approaches, we have had to be kind, be brave, and be creative. The conference theme invites presenters to share tools, tips, strategies, and stories for truly embracing (not just coping with) uncertainty in the physical education, health education and outdoor education environment. There are great things happening out there every day in our schools, our tertiary institutions and in your classroom, so let’s share them to enrich the practice within our learning areas and enhance the learning of our ākonga.
Submit an abstract to present before 19 February 2021– there are 6 presentation formats to choose. https://penz.org.nz/abstract-information/
Be inspired, learn, share ideas and approaches, meet others in your region, and challenge your thinking to improve your teaching and learning.
Pop the dates in your diary. Registrations open end March.
