Our full training programme is made up of one 90-minute module and meets online once. 

Module 1. Understanding Autism (ASD) in Children

• What is autism (ASD)?
• What does anxiety look like for children with autism and how can we teach self-calming strategies?
• Understanding sensory difficulties
• Stimming: behaviour, causes, management
• Support strategies to help calm a child during a meltdown.

Qualification. To gain your relevant certificate of training you will be invited to complete 8 or 9 multi choice questions.
