Learning stories are the bread and butter of an early childhood teacher’s work. It is where we are able to capture the everyday learning of children: their discoveries, their strengths, their interests. We celebrate their development and begin to make meaning of the experiences that we are noticing. But as each child is different, there are also a myriad of different ways in which we can view this learning. This workshop will take you step by step through our updated resource ‘Quality Assessment and Documentation’, a copy of which will be yours to keep.

This is an ideal course for kaiako of varied knowledge bases, whether you are just starting out and wanting to learn more about how to write a learning story, or whether you are a more experienced kaiako and just want some fresh inspiration and ideas for your current assessment and documentation practices.
This event runs from 9am to 3pm.
Cost: $195 per person (includes morning tea and a light lunch).
