Mini #LitterLessCampaign - Reduce Environmental Pollution
Did you or someone you know resign from a primary school classroom teacher position in the last 6 years? If so, please read on because I would like to invite you/them to become a participant in my doctoral research project.
Research tells us that teachers resign due to high workloads, low salaries and the low status of the profession; but they also leave for other reasons, which often go unacknowledged. With the exception of social media platforms, rarely do teachers and former teachers get the opportunity to share their teaching experiences. Participants in this study will get to tell their story as well as contribute significantly to what is currently a shallow pool of qualitative research into teacher attrition in Aotearoa New Zealand. They will also go into a draw to win cash prizes of up to $200.
Former teachers are hard to find. My ‘snowball’ recruitment strategy relies heavily on people who hear of my project sharing the study website link with anyone they think may be interested in participating. Any assistance you can afford me in this regard would be much appreciated.
