This Safe for Children live online course is ideal for school leaders, teachers, and support staff.

Duration: 2 hours
Date: Tuesday 1 December
Time: 9.30am–11.30am
Cost: $50 + GST per person.

Staff are often working in a high-stress, high-expectation environment. It is therefore hard to keep up with important and up to date information for assisting behaviour change in children. This course will give you and your staff that help!

Topics include:

  • Understanding of the stress response system in children
  • Recognising environments that activate the stress response system and the ongoing effects
  • Positively effecting behaviour change and calm in our tamariki
  • Assisting the children and young people you support and also yourself.

This course is interactive and engages participants. You will be able to ask questions and they will get answered while you are watching.

To gain your relevant certificate of training you will be invited to complete 4 or 5 multi choice questions.
