Notice reference #: 1HAEji

Flipped classrooms, blended learning and hybrid environments are all examples of how digital technologies and online spaces are being increasingly used in teaching and learning today. This requires teachers to learn new skills and ways of designing learning - including they interact with students.

This webinar is the first in a series of two that will introduce some of the important ideas educators need to engage with in order to design learning and promote learner agency in an online environment.

By the end of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Discuss the emerging online environments where teaching and learning is taking place
  • Describe how a learner-centered approach is established and maintained when designing for online learning
  • Use your description of a learner-centred approach to apply some principles of effective learning design online.
