Implementation of the Professional Growth Cycle

Appraisal as we know it is no longer a specific 'requirement' from the New Zealand Teaching Council, but as we know to continue to develop, grow, enhance and increase quality outcomes for all tamariki, there must be a system of growth for each kaiako in ECE. The Professional Growth Cycle is a system to achieve this and one 4Es Consulting have been using to externally mentor clients nationwide for over two years already. These changes are coming into effect February 2021, so this is your opportunity to understand, feel confident and put your system in place before then.

This workshop will break down how to create and use a quality practice template in your service, how to ensure the systems and documentation you are using are stream-lined, suit you and your team and most importantly, are authentic, as well as types of and how to track evidence and endorsement for re-certification details. It delves into what evidence can and should look like as well as how to support the varying levels of Educators in your team.
