More Funding Available for Adult and Community Education
The Adult and Community Education Fund provides community-based education, foundation skills, and pathways into learning opportunities that meet community learning needs.
Government has given ACE a $3.56 million per annum boost to reinstate funding for night-classes and broaden provision to meet learner needs post-COVID-19. $500,000 has been allocated for ACE coordination by schools.
Schools wanting to offer ACE from term 1 2021 must apply by 30 October 2020.
Schools wanting to offer ACE later (e.g. from term 2) can apply after this date, subject to available funding.
