The team at Children's Autism Foundation presents "Dealing with Anxiety", a 2‐hour workshop interactive workshop for parents, whanau and professionals who engage with children and young people on the Autism Spectrum.  You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of anxiety in children and with some simple strategies to support the children you work with.

Topics include:

  • What is anxiety?
  • What does anxiety look like in children on the Autism Spectrum?
  • Practical strategies & an anxiety "toolkit" to help manage anxiety in children & young people at home and in the learning environment.

Cost: $50 incl GST.
Date: Monday 19 October 7-9pm.
Venue: Onehunga Community Centre, 83 Church Street, Onehunga, Auckland

Date: Thursday 22 October 7-9pm.
Venue: The Link, 4 Te Aroha Street, Claudelands, Hamilton.

This workshop is presented by Children's Autism Foundation Facilitator Jeanita Cush-Hunter.
