This Safe for Children live online course is ideal for school leaders, teachers, and support staff.

Duration: 2 hours
Date: Tuesday 20 October
Time: 9.30am–11.30am
Cost: $50 + GST per person

Staff are often working in a high-stress, high-expectation environment. It is therefore hard to keep up with important and up to date information for assisting behaviour change in children. This course will give you and your staff that help!

Topics include:

  • Understanding of the stress response system in children and young people
  • Recognising environments that activate the stress response system and the ongoing effects
  • Positively effecting behaviour change and calm in children and young people
  • Assisting the children and young people you support and also yourself.

This course is interactive and engages participants. You will be able to ask questions along the way and they will get answered while you are watching.

To gain your relevant certificate of training you will be invited to complete 4 or 5 multi choice questions.

*Time or day does not suit? Do not worry a watch on demand option is also available on request. Email: donna@safeforchildren.co.nz
