Nigel will be speaking about How we can be more open and resilient to changes, how we can deal with uncertain circumstances, such as Covid-19 in the best possible way and how we can focus on our own well-being so as to find a better level of work-life balance and avoid the dreaded burn-out which has become an epidemic in the Early Childhood Education sector.

Nigel has a BSc in Zoology, Masters degrees in Marine Science and Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology. His work as a clinical psychologist spans over two decades and reflects a dual interest in both forensic psychology and working with young people and their families. He’s consulted for a range of private and public organisations from throughout New Zealand including social service agencies, sex offender treatment programs, prisons, the Department of Corrections, the New Zealand Police and Child Youth and Family Services.

He’s written 8 books which have now been published in 19 countries and 10 languages.
