Learning Dispositions in the 21st Century – 2 Consecutive Evening Sessions
Learning dispositions are central to Te Whāriki and the Key Competencies in The NZ Curriculum. Guy Claxon (1999) identifies that children learning in the 21st century will be required to engage with uncertainty, and persist in the face of difficulty. We will cover Carol Dweck Growth Mindset Theory and how this encourages depositional learning. We will also explore how to document, plan and review how we provide meaningful, authentic feedback to children through language. This workshop is over two consecutive evenings (Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 September)
Online: 6 to 9pm on Tuesday 29 September and Wednesday 30 September.
