Since 2007, Springboard has used its unique cross-sector model to partner principals in need with expert volunteers from public, private and philanthropic sectors. Covering a 10-month strategic leadership programme together, principals deliver a strategic plan and vision that create the conditions for all learners to thrive.
Principals will work with six or seven other educator-volunteer pairings, under the guidance of an expert facilitator and the Springboard team. We deliver a high-trust partnership, and the tools and frameworks to create change in a school or community environment.
SLPP is open to principals who have not worked with us before, while SLRTP is tailored to principals who teach in a rural setting.
These programmes are fully funded by our partners, therefore free for principals to participate in.
Both programmes are Springboard's foundations - upon completion, you can continue your learning with our tailored workshops, coaching and School Innovation Services.
Our vision is to dramatically improve outcomes for all New Zealand learners - get in touch to find out how we can help.
“If our schools thrive, our society thrives, and that depends in a large part on leadership” - Ian Narev, Springboard Trust board chair
