The 21st Century Learning Process
The learning process has been very simple for the last 300 years and suddenly it has become far more complex. The simple process of read- remember- recall resulted in learners remembering knowledge as the end point. Now the end point can be far more complex. The implications of the shift in complexity of learning means learners now have to apply a far more complex learning process.
This more sophisticated learning process is gradually introduced to learners over the first ten years of schooling. The five developmental stages of learning increases in sophistication over the time that learners are at school.
In this session Mark will unpack the learning process and model the shifts in that process and the implications for learners.
