If you are interested in enriching and innovating your teaching practice by taking it beyond the classroom (EOTC), this conference is for you. You can expect an engaging, thought-provoking and hands-on two days. The conference is being delivered simultaneously in 5 centres across Aoteaora and has been designed for all educators (ECE through to secondary) and all learning areas.

Day 1 will involve all five centres streaming together online to participate in a range of activities. You will engage with the ideas raised by our keynote speakers and unpack them through engaging discussion and activities. |
Day 2 each centre will follow an individualised programme based on the needs and interests of the region. We will be out in place, engaging with our local communities and environments. |

Ways to integrate responsive and authentic learning about our environment. |
Enhancing student and staff wellbeing through connected learning. |
Discovering meaning through Mātauranga Māori and multicultural values/practices. |
Navigating and proactively leading changes in education. |
Managing the nitty gritty of EOTC: health and safety, workload and budgeting. |
