Providing detailed information, practical guidance, and strategies for educating students with Down syndrome and other special learning needs

Who is it for? SENCO’s, teachers, teacher aides, specialist staff, and parent educators of students with Down syndrome and other special learning needs.

Topics covered include: Inclusion, the Learning Profile of Students with Down syndrome, Behaviour, Friendships, Numeracy, Literacy and Using Visual Aids to Access the Curriculum.

Date and time: 10 and 11 August from 8.30am to 3.45pm.

Location: Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre, Mt Wellington.

Cost: $350 (GST inclusive) per person. Morning, afternoon tea and lunch provided.
