In today’s exponentially accelerating knowledge age, teachers recognise the need to create practices that help students develop their own ideas as well as learn about the ideas of others. Whilst this is important across the curriculum it is vital in STEM subjects.

STEM Unleashed is a professional development programme that empowers teachers to transform their classrooms into innovative incubators of awesomeness. The programme supports teachers as learn to design challenges that help students build knowledge collaboratively; in the same way as scientists and open source technologists.

As well as developing skills in the area of  learning design, our teachers also learn to facilitate sessions where they teach their classroom as an knowledge ecosystem rather than a set of individuals. This allows a classroom collective to maximise the potential of it’s diversity and ideate and use this to create collective intelligence.

This program has been designed with the busy lives of teachers in mind. It requires no prior knowledge and we welcome those with no STEM knowledge and those who just don’t know where to start.

All our workshops have a low barrier to entry and a high ceiling of possibility.

You do not require access to any expensive materials and anything you need will be provided to you AND YOUR CLASS!
