ASK (Autism Spectrum Knowledge) Professional Development
ASK (Autism Spectrum Knowledge) training is a series of interactive professional development workshops facilitated by highly qualified, experienced facilitators from Children's Autism Foundationwho work with ASD children on a daily basis.
This training is for:
- Teachers – ECE, Primary, Secondary, Tertiary
- SENCOs, RTLBs, Learning Support Coordinators
- Teacher Aides/Teaching Assistants
- any educational professionals who engage with children on the autism spectrum.
If you are a professional who engages with children or young people with ASD then these workshops are for you!
The full training programme is made up of 5-6* two hour modules run through the year. Attend one workshop or attend the full series of 5 modules to gain our ASK Professional Training certificate.

Module 1. Understanding Autism
Monday 17 February, 7–9pm
Module 2. Sensory Issues
Monday 16 March, 2020 7–9pm
Module 3. Dealing with Anxiety
Monday Monday 6 April, 7–9pm
Module 4a. Social Skills and Communication for under 12’s
Monday Monday 4 May, 7–9
Module 4b. Social Skills and Communication for over 12’s
Monday 25 May, 7–9pm
5. Strategies for Behaviour
Monday 22 June, 7–9pm

Cost: $50 incl GST per module (non-refundable registration fee)
