Looking Through Authentic Lenses

One of our biggest bugbears is when assessment is not authentic. Time constraints, full rolls and lack of understanding or knowledge can lead to assessment that is not authentic to the individual child and/or lacks depth to the learning that is being noticed.
This course delves into how to authentically look into and then document noticeable learning for children over the course of a term and how to support this with anecdotal documentation as opposed to isolated learning in learning stories once a month which has become our norm.
This interactive course provides many examples, strategies, scenarios and supportive trouble shooting for your individual setting that will be enable you to be proud of how and more importantly why, we document children's learning.
