We know that at least five students in every classroom will have language and maths difficulties. This one day training will look at the reasons why adults and children struggle having both internal and external factors There is a huge impact of specific learning difficulties such as dyscalculia.

Practical solutions will be explored to help children to overcome their barriers to learning including the effective use of concrete manipulatives, how to cope with maths anxiety, develop conceptual understanding through reasoning and development of mathematical language. The impact of dyslexia on Maths will also be covered.

The sessions will be very hands on. You will be able to take away resources, activities and ideas to implement in your classrooms. 

Judy has presented with SPELD and RT Lit Otago and now it's your turn to experience and benefit from the expertise of Judy.
