Learning Environments Symposium
Learning Environments: Policy, practice, philosophies.
Registrations are now open for the inaugural Learning Environments Symposium held on 11 October at the University of Waikato, Hamilton. If you are interested or involved in learning environments development, research, practice or policy, please join us for a stimulating day of learning, discussions and networking.
The symposium is organised by the New Zealand Association for Research in Education (NZARE)’s special interest group on learning environments. It is a response to international and national interest in the design and development of innovative learning spaces across educational levels and contexts. Multidisciplinary discussions and collaborations are increasingly being sought to enhance current understandings of teaching, learning and assessment practices in this field.
Invited speakers include Jamie Strange (Labour Party List MP, Hamilton), Chris Bradbeer (Stonefields School), Dr Leon Benade (AUT), and Dr Noeline Wright (University of Waikato).
Details and registrations for the event can be found here:
NZARE member - $90
non-NZARE member - $110
