Student competitions and scholarships

Posted: 29 July 2019

Calling all bee-lovers!

Entries open on 5 August for the annual Bee Aware Month schools' competition. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage students in the fascinating world of bees. This year we are asking students to create a video of 2 minutes or under, on the theme ‘Love our Bees’. The video could highlight reasons to love bees or things we can do to help bees.

This competition is open to all primary and intermediate-aged school groups: school classes, school gardening clubs, after school care programmes and home-schooled students.

Go to apinz.org.nz/bee-aware-month for full details on the competition, an entry form and the terms and conditions.

All entries must be in by Friday 20 September.

Our top 3 winners will be chosen in early October and we have some great prizes up for grabs.
