The True Leader in a Damaged Hierarchy: An Evening, with Welby Ings
Damaged hierarchies are normally managed, but rarely led. They can tick boxes and sometimes report well, but they don't grow innovation – in fact they often consciously drive off innovative thinkers. However, sometimes we see surfacing within them the most extraordinary survivors who not only avoid the pitfalls of cynicism and passivity; they also productively grow protective or innovative sub-cultures around them. We don't talk much about these people, but you may be one of them. This evening looks at the nature of this particular kind of leadership - how you can recognise it ... how it influences … and how it survives.
