This FREE LEARNZ online field trip, Te tapa whenua: naming the land, will help educators and ākonga discover Ngāi Tahu stories behind some of the place names around Aoraki, our highest peak, through engaging readings, videos, a live web conference and interactive quizzes and maps.
This online field trip aligns with the Aotearoa New Zealand Histories Curriculum. It supports a cross curricular approach to teaching and learning and encourages curiosity and student inquiry.
