VLN Primary School – Online Programmes Semester 1 2022
'Drama Gone Viral'- show touring to your school for years 4-9 students.
‘Drama Gone Viral’ features comedy, drama ‘how-to’, science history, and adventure. A funny, informative play about how to use drama conventions, time travel, and the history of the vaccine.
Jason escapes lockdown through a portal and meets Shakespeare who casts him as Juliet in his up and coming play until the plague forces the closure of the theatre. Jason also meets the poster boys of vaccination: Louis Pasteur and Dr Jenner. To re-enter 2022 Jason has to perform a solo drama. Using drama conventions and his new knowledge of science history he accepts the challenge, performs, and makes it home.
