An Inclusive Education: Where all Learners Participate and Belong

This symposium will provide an opportunity for education practitioners to access the most recent research and practice that describes effective and high quality inclusive education in both New Zealand schools and international examples.
A variety of speakers from different parts of the sector with wide knowledge and experience will address theory and research, share personal stories, political perspectives and future plans for inclusive education in New Zealand. Practical support and resources for teachers in the classroom will be a strong focus with opportunity for collaboration and discussion.
The symposium will take place over two days at the University of Auckland’s Kohia Centre at the Faculty of Education and Social Work, Epsom Campus.
