Going To School
The very idea of beginning school can be very exciting for some children but can be quite daunting for others. A smooth, fluid, successful transition if often sought. However, what does a ‘successful’ transition look like?
As early childhood education professionals our role is to ensure that we are supporting each child and their family to feel secure and empowered in the process of entering school. This workshop is designed to consider ways in which children’s learning journeys might be enhanced as they move from early childhood education to primary school.
