Notice reference #: 1H9s0X

SPEC NZQA approved programme for the New Zealand Certificate in Skills for Living for supported learners, with an Optional Strand for Skills for Work is a very relevant certificate for young people who operate at Levels 1–2 of the New Zealand Curriculum, and who require ongoing support and adapted materials.

The programme provides effective inclusion, relevant and meaningful content for students who come into school at the lower levels of the curriculum and who are likely to remain so until they leave school.

The focus of this qualification is the development of competencies within a life skills context, relevant to the learner.

The SPEC programme offers a wide range of module titles that support ILP goals.  The programme also accommodates different learning styles and extended time frames to allow student to develop.

The PD session will cover all programmes to include those that sit outside of the New Zealand qualification.  There will be a 'hands on' session with the resources exploring just how versatile they are to meet the needs of all lower functioning students.

Each delegate will receive a complimentary set of 3 supplements.

Refreshments are provided. $195 +GST per delegate.

9am–1pm.
