Notice reference #: 1H9s0N

SPEC NZQA approved programme leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills at Level 1 provides an alternative pathway for students who are struggling at school and disengaged with learning.  The programme is guaranteed to 'put them back on track' with a personalised and negotiated approach,  involving the student in all aspects of their learning.  The programme has a specific focus on developing competencies which is essential for life-long learning and successful employment.

Success stories from around the country demonstrate how effective this way of working is, with students who were a step away from being stood down, turning around to successfully reintegrating back into NCEA.

The programme provides relevant and meaningful learning, moving away from everyone having to study the same thing at the same time and in the same way, and in doing so meetings the needs of all learners.

The PD session will explore the programme and qualification, provide a 'hands on' session with the resources. There are 3 complimentary supplements for each delegate to take away with them.

Refreshments are provided. $195 +GST per delegate

9am–1pm.
