Middle Leader Workshop Series in Hamilton, Tauranga and Taranaki

Our intention is to assist in developing transformative leaders who have:

  • the relational capabilities to build trust, integrity and mutual respect
  • the strategic capabilities to align vision with organisational planning goals, targets and actions by prioritising resources and driving change to achieve this vision
  • the evaluative capabilities to capture and use evidence to make sound decisions that track and accelerate progress to ensure valuable outcomes for all students
  • the adaptive capabilities to respond to challenge, change and complexity. 

The workshop series aims to:

  • deepen our understanding of ourselves as a leader
  • explore what it means to ‘lead from the middle’
  • examine the issues faced by middle leaders in a school
  • inquire into a wide range of leadership practices that will assist in building a leadership platform
  • promote leading for strategic and successful change
  • develop capability – evaluative, strategic, instructional and adaptive
  • promote dialogue, discussion and debate with other middle leaders
  • support leaders inquiries as part of appraisal
  • assist with further aspirations towards senior leadership positions.
