Kidsfirst Kindergartens are proud to announce the 2019 Professional Learning Hui, to be held on 16–17 April at Rangi Ruru Girls' School in Christchurch.
This year the theme is “Ki te hoe: Navigating Early Childhood Landscapes”, which focuses on the range of challenges early childhood teachers are facing in an ECE context which is becoming increasingly complex and diverse.
As well as seven keynote and panel discussions, over thirty workshops will be held.
Keynote speakers confirmed to date are:
Joce Nuttall, Australian Catholic University
Jenny Ritchie, Victoria University of Wellington
Carmen Dalli, Victoria University of Wellington
Mere Skerrett, Victoria University of Wellington
with more to come.
Workshop topics include early childhood leadership, the theoretical underpinnings of Te Whāriki, new and innovative pedagogical practices, authentic bicultural practice, to name just a few.

Early bird: If paid/registered by 31 March, $160 + GST per day, or $300 + GST for 2 days.
