SPEC South Pacific Educational Courses Professional Development

Professional development (PD) Auckland, Waikato, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Canterbury

Posted: 16 January 2019
Notice reference #: 1H9qQ_

SPEC programmes are NZQA approved and lead to two New Zealand certificate qualifications. This is a relevant and exciting new opportunity for students who are struggling at school. Students often need an alternative approach to develop the skills needed for further learning, and these personalised programmes are a proven vehicle for achieving success. Both the New Zealand Foundation Skills Level 1 and the New Zealand Skills for Living for supported learners appear on a student's Record of Learning. Both have a focus on developing competencies needed for life long learning and employment.

Day one explores the SPEC programme and the Foundation Level 1 qualification, and day two explores the SPEC programme and the Skills for Living qualification for supported learners.

Further information can be found on the SPEC website, or please feel free to contact Carolyn to discuss your options.
