Digital Technologies Readiness Information Series
Have you heard about the new Digital Technologies Learning Area? Do you want to start planning for 2019, but are unsure of where to start? This series of workshops offer information about the supports available, including the National Readiness Programme, unpacking of the new DT learning area as well as some opportunities to get hands on and explore teaching approaches.
These informal sessions are free and facilitated by a DT Regional Leader from the DTTA Network of Expertise – a Digital Technologies teacher, with 17 years experience in the subject area.
We hope to grow a networked community of teachers who can lead the implementation of this new learning area in the Waikato region. Resources provided will include an information pack and ideas for taking back to school and sharing with colleagues, as well as collaborative support from within the network.
Teachers of all levels are welcome. Workshop sessions will run from 4–5.30pm on Thursdays.
Limited places are available and booking is essential.
With thanks to our host and sponsor, The Technology Hub, Taupō (digitaltechnologies.net.nz).
