This workshop helps participants to understand the broader implications of introducing the Digital Technologies curriculum content. The course content will involve understanding the notion of students as creators of knowledge rather than consumers of knowledge. The resulting discussion will move participants towards developing a school vision which incorporates the essence of the Digital Technologies curriculum. Participants will also develop understanding of the progress outcomes and their relationship to teaching and learning design including:
- Computational thinking for digital technologies
- Designing and developing digital outcomes
Their will be an opportunity for participants to reflect on the current status of their own school’s journey and collaboratively design potential next steps in the implementation towards the mandatory rollout in January 2020.
