For Teachers By Teachers – TRCC Courses for 2018
The Teachers' Refresher Course Committee is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1946 by Director-General of Education Clarence Beeby to run professional learning and development for teachers, by teachers. It is made up of representatives of the three teaching unions, PPTA, NZEI and TEU, and has been in operation for over 70 years.
TRCC use education practitioners to lead and participate in professional learning and development.
TRCC provide subsidised travel (this could be free flights) to the courses. These numbers are limited.
Courses fill quickly because of the bonus free travel.
