Pippi Longstocking Education Season

Other Auckland

Posted: 28 February 2018
Notice reference #: 1H9hc0

Date: Monday 9 April–Friday 13 April
Time: 10.30am and 1pm daily

An enduring favourite of boys and girls around the world. The irrepressible Pippi Longstocking has flaming red ponytails and lives all by herself in Villekulla Cottage. Imagine, no grown-ups! Join Pippi, and her friends, Tommy and Annika, as she outsmarts the bullies, has fun with her monkey, Mr Nelson, and is reunited with her father, the Cannibal King. A topsy-turvy world of fun and hi-jinks.

(Presented by arrangement with NORDISKA ApS. – Copenhagen, Denmark)

I am constantly wowed by Pippi. Her physical prowess is impressive; she embodies Pippi’s spunk and enthusiasm for unconventional living with ease.

This is a thoroughly entertaining children’s show that I’ve really loved seeing; I encourage childless adult fans not to feel at all odd going along. It is a lovingly created tribute to Pippi, and any fan of any age will find it a pleasure. ” – TheatreView, 2013
