Mini #LitterLessCampaign - Reduce Environmental Pollution
NZ On Screen is launching a new competition for aspiring filmmakers, writers and curators across the country.
ScreenTest is a nationwide competition that gives students the chance to create, curate and critique our screen heritage. The competition is in two parts and both categories have the theme of ‘Coming of Age’.
The first category asks students to curate a collection of New Zealand’s best Coming of Age titles on NZ On Screen and explain why these particular titles best represent the journey from youth to adulthood.
The collection can include any of the material on NZ On Screen – videos, films, television and web series.
The winning collection will be published on nzonscreen.com and the winning individual or team will also win an on-set visit to the ‘Shortland Street’ studios in Auckland.
The second category is the filmmaking option, where students are asked to create a short film of three to 10 minutes' duration that represents a Coming of Age story in Aotearoa.
The winning entry will be published on nzonscreen.com and will also win an on-set experience with a local production.
Students can enter either one or both categories of the competition.
Both competitions launch on February 12.
