U2s: Milk and Introducing Solids
Does the baby mash currently served in your centre include all the nutrients babies need?
Find out the current Ministry of Health recommendations for babies and toddlers starting on solids and how to best prepare finger foods for this age group. Plus, food safety tips on how to store and reheat baby mash and how to safely handle formula and breast milk in the Centre. This workshop includes a baby mash cooking demonstration.
Suitable for cooks and managers, but also teachers of under 2s who handle bottles in the centre and would like to find out more about the MoH recommendations for this age group and how nutrition in the early years can impact development and growth.
All our Clean Plate workshops are tailored to early childhood professionals, including cooks, teachers and managers, but are also suitable to parents and carers of children under 5. We can also deliver all our courses in-house. Just let us know your preference.
