Professional development (PD) New Zealand (nationwide), Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago

Posted: 12 December 2017
Notice reference #: 1H9grv

As classroom teachers and educators we are increasingly aware of the impact of emotions on learning. Teaching Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) approaches can have positive impact on decreasing emotional distress, improving coping skills, and academic achievement.

Participants will:

  • gain an overview of the 5 key competencies of Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
  • have an understanding of how physical design and access impacts emotional wellbeing
  • explore strategies and suggestions to implement Social Emotional Learning in a range of learning contexts.

Join us at one of our face-to-face workshops, or virtually from anywhere in Aotearoa.
