Wondering what all the fuss is about in relation to Maker Space, coding and robotics? Want to learn how these link to learning for your students? Come along and find out ways you can effectively incorporate coding and robotics into your classroom programme. You will be introduced to several affordable robots that are helping teach children problem solving, creativity and critical thinking and ways of incorporating them into your learning environment. This workshop is primarily intended for those new to coding and robotics.

Participants will:

  • understand why computational thinking is an essential skill for all learners
  • examine how computational thinking can teach problem solving, creativity and critical thinking within the learning environment
  • have an opportunity to be hands-on with a range of coding, robotics and programming activities.
