Technology Scholarship, by Lesley Pearce
This workshop is designed to guide and support teachers in their understanding of the requirements for successful technology scholarship projects. This will include identifying and demystifying the requirements for this performance standard in all three strands of the curriculum. Participants will investigate how a student uses their experiences and evidence in developing a technological outcome to write a reflective report and how teachers identify, support and encourage students to be creative, critical thinkers who can analyse and synthesise. Teachers attending this course will experience a range of learning activities and analyse previous scholarship student exemplars
At the completion of the course participants will:
1. Understand the requirements for a successful scholarship report.
2. Know strategies that will support potential scholarship students.
3. Understand how to use Level 3 NCEA achievement standards to support scholarship evidence
