Catholic Education Convention
The 2018 Catholic Education Convention will bring together Catholic educators, Bishops, priests, school trustees and a range of others associated with our national Catholic education system. All are welcome to attend.
Hosted by the NZ Catholic Education Office, it is being held 13–15 June at the TSB Arena in Wellington.
The theme of the Convention is:
Christ’s call: to love, to be, to do
Te karanga tā te Karaiti: kia arohaina, kia ora, kia tīnā
Our international keynote speakers are:
- Daniel P. Horan, a Franciscan friar of Holy Name Province (NY) and assistant professor of systematic theology at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
- David Wells, the Director of Adult Formation and Youth Ministry in the Diocese of Plymouth, UK,
- Professor Br David Hall, a Marist Brother and the foundation Dean of the La Salle Academy at the Australian Catholic University (ACU).
