Jenny Mosley's Quality Circle Time Train the Trainer
In August 2018 Jenny Mosley will be running a unique four day Train the Trainers course – as her passion is to share the model with other dedicated professionals. Jenny Whitehead, a visionary and positive RTLB, is arranging this residential course where delegates will be trained in the model, observing me work with children of different ages and backgrounds. All delegates will leave as an accredited trainer in the model, able to deliver the training themselves to teachers and children in their school and in other local settings. I will be working from a broad base with children from early years, primary and secondary settings.
In particular the Golden Model places a focus upon these following areas that are key to PB4L and Kaupapa Maori:
* Whole-School Approach
Involving the whole school community, with systems and philosophies running throughout, influencing whole school culture.
* Embracing Families and The Wider Community
Reaching out to parents and the wider community, just as the Maori systems reach out to Whanau (family groups) and Iwi (the wider community).
* Positive Behaviour
Promoting positive behaviour for learning through creating systems with golden rules for behaviour, moral values, whole school incentives and sanctions systems. Students are taught Five Skills for Behaviour and 6 Golden Rules – so they can make sound behavioural and moral choices.
