Active Movement and Brain Development

What’s more important, learning to move or moving to learn? Well they actually go hand in hand and where brain development is concerned one cannot happen without the other. Movement is needed to stimulate thinking and learning in young children. This hands on workshop will show you how important active movement is for infants, toddlers and young children and give you practical ideas to ensure the children you work with are stimulated to develop their growing brains.

Time: 9am–11.30pm.

Venue: BNZ Partners Centre, Waimakiriri Room, 5 Sir William, Pickering Drive, Russley, Christchurch.

Cost: $45.
